Girl Code: Gaming, Going Viral and Getting it done

In their book Girl Code: Gaming, Going Viral and Getting It Done, Sophie Houser and Andrea Gonzales inspire teen girls to find their voice, speak up and learn to code. Cheryl Miller Houser and Creative Breed created a video for publisher HarperCollins that captures Sophie and Andy’s uplifting story profiled in the book of making a video game when they were 16, Tampon Run, that went viral.

 
 

Cheryl was able to capture lively, relatable interview footage with the two tech phenoms which she interwove with verite moments from their journey to convey the girls’ engaging, inspirational nature.
